Orcs Must Die! The Boardgame gets its kick started

Tower defense title, Orcs Must Die!, has reached back into the past to guide its future. The game, by Robot Entertainment, is getting the board game treatment - or perhaps more accurately, the table top strategy game treatment.
Orcs Must Die! The Boardgame is being wholly created by Peterson Games.
There's a Kickstarter that will teach you everything you need to know about the game. The short version is that you will set traps and deploy traps on you gaming table instead of digitally on your TV.

Orcs Must Die! The Boardgame is designed and published by Petersen Games. Robot Entertainment has licensed the use of the Orcs Must Die! IP, including art and other digital assets. However, Petersen Games is solely responsible for creating and running this project.

"The award winning game Orcs Must Die! has at last made its way to the table top! Orcs Must Die! The Boardgame dares you to preserve your stronghold sieged by orcs. You have traps & weapons galore, and can team up with your friends to obliterate the nasty orcs and their grotesque allies. Robot Entertainment has joined forces with award-winning designer Sandy Petersen to create Orcs Must Die! The Boardgame project. Our new game has been precisely adapted to the tabletop environment. It includes scores of great plastic figures of all your favorite heroes, plus hordes of orcs, crossbow orcs, kobolds, gnolls, trolls, ogres, and more. Sandy Petersen is a well known game designer who's worked on games for iD Software, Ensemble Studios and many more before founding Petersen Games. Members of the Robot Entertainment team have worked with Sandy on the Age of Empires series of games while at Ensemble Studios.
