Information about GTA V Heist patch leaked, file size and achievements

More On: Grand Theft Auto V

Anyone who knows me knows how bitter I have been about the fact that it's taken us a year and a half to get content in GTA V that we were all lead to believe was going to be in the game at launch, but now that said content is finally here, my excitement has overtaken any remaining resentment.

THE HEISTS ARE HERE!

Or will be very soon, anyhow. Some lucky devils got the patch early somehow, and through these blessed individuals we have learned some small but ever-so-tasty details about what's to come in the next day.

Firstly, the size of the patch. On the PS4 and XB1, it measures up to 4.8 GB, a pretty sizable patch. On the last generation however, it will be only 1.2 GB. Previous generations of hard drives, as I'm sure we all know, were much smaller, and this puts GTA V's total installation size up to about 10 GB.

Achievements have also been posted onto XboxAchievements.com, and while they are specifically Xbox achievements, I feel sure that it's safe to bet the Playstation trophies will be the same. They are as follows:

  • Shot Caller: Invest your hard earned cash to set up a Heist
  • Four Way: As Heist leader set the Finale cut as 25% across all players
  • Live a Little: Spend a total of $8,000,000 purchasing vehicles included as part of The Heists Update.
  • Can't Touch This: Complete a Heist Finale without taking any damage.
  • Mastermind: Earn 25 platinum medals across Heist Setups and Finales.

There are also a few secret achievements, but I won't post those in case there are a select few who don't want to know them. Follow the link above to the full list.
