CES 2015 is just a couple of weeks away, but the news is already coming in regarding what to expect.  While this show isn't expected to have many pieces of industry-shattering news as companies work on refining current technology such as 4K televisions, there will still be some big things to come out of Las Vegas.

Today, Samsung announced via cNet that as early as Summer of 2015, their televisions will have direct access to the Playstation Network, meaning that you will no longer need a Playstation console to enjoy some of your old favorites.

The only requirement is ownership of a Playstation DualShock controller that will plug directly into the television via USB.  Other than that, it's a simple download of the app and away you go on the PSN.

There is no official date for this launch, but expect there to be more information regarding it in the first week of January at CES.
