A plethora of gameplay improvements are coming to one of 2014's best games, I am Bread

Gameplay changes include multiple new ways to toast yourself including with lights, a rocket, and an oven, according to a post on the game's Steam page. Other improvements include glasses and bottles now being breakable, jam being less sticky, and adjustments to the grip meter. 

Here is a full list of changes coming:

  • Camera sensitivity slider added 
  • More sound effects on objects 
  • Music is no longer positional 
  • Mouse pointer is now only displayed in menus when using controller 
  • Lights now toast the bread 
  • Rocket now toasts the bread 
  • Oven now toasts the bread 
  • Glasses and bottles are now breakable 
  • The ants are faster (more obviously hazardous) 
  • Keyboard is now configurable 
  • Controller improved for UI 
  • Improved toasting feedback 
  • Grading rebalanced to be fairer 
  • Jam less sticky, to avoid getting completely stuck 
  • Jpg and GIF sharing now working 
  • UI improvements 
  • Improved lighting for high visual quality settings 
  • Various bugs fixed 
  • Adjusted the grip meter

Bossa Studios also posted a new video detailing the changes coming to I am Bread, and announced that they will be doing a weekly video series, titled Bread Diaries, to discuss changes and news coming to the game. 

I am Bread was released on Steam Early Access last week, with the full version planned for early in 2015.
