SMITE gets a new patch this week and it is massive. If you missed all the details, be sure to check out my previous post about the patch. Long story short, we are getting two god reworks, a new god with a kit from a current god and tons of other content including skins. One of those skins is "Pixel Buster" Freya which pretty much serves as love letter to the 8-bit games of the past.
Hi-Rez released a trailer for the skin, which you can check out below so you can get an idea about what you can expect. The sound effects are what I'm most excited about. Those beeps, boops and classic explosions. Brings back many memories of playing my Atari 2600. Good times. "Pixel Buster" Freya will cost 600 gems, is part of The Odyssey and will also earn you a free treasure chest roll.
