Has GOG.com won the pre-order swag battle?

More On: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

We've all seen our fill of standard pre-order bonuses.  We've all broken the diff curve of our games by entering some code that came with our new copy and downloaded some OP weapon with unlimited ammo and homing bullets.

I don't know about you, but I hate that crap.

And then there's GOG.com.  If you pre-order the digital, completely DRM-free, version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you will also receive PDF files that allow you to download a series of special The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt papercraft figurine templates created by Togui (Geralt, Triss, Yennefer, Ciri, Eredin, and Leshen).

Now that is how you do pre-order bonuses.

It gets better though.  Those of you who do download the PDF files, print them out and assemble them can then participate in a photo contest.  Take your best photo of your Togui papercraft figurines, submit them to the GOG.com Twitter channel with the hashtag #PaperWitcher and if you win, you'll receive a special figure of Geralt fighting a griffin.  You can see a "making of" trailer for the special Geralt vs giant griffin below.
