Based in Bellevue, Washington, indie developer Motiga has been heads-down, working on Gigantic since 2012. This particular video, while lovely, has me confused as to whether this five-person cooperative 3D action shooter might have 2D elements in it as well. I hope so, but there's only so much we can accurately learn from cinematic trailers. Also, it's too bad it doesn't look like any of the five co-op players will play as the massive guardian. That could've been like Evolve, with everybody on the same team.
Gigantic is taking signups at their website for alpha testers. It will also have a playable demo at this year's PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington, on August 29 – September 1.
