New vampire game from Moblyng Games

More On: m: Vampire
You heard it, m: Vampire was recently released for mobile devices. Anything that gets vampires disassociated with Twilight is a win in my book, especially if it involves the Count himself. The fact that this is an RPG makes it even better, with the many possibilities of roaming around the world looking for unsuspecting mortals. If you're an old school Stoker fan who hates, as I do, where vampires are going these days, give this game a try.
Moblyng Games Bites Into New Game Genre, Launches m:Vampire

Redwood City, Calif. – July 8, 2009 – Sharpen your stakes and keep the
garlic handy.  Moblyng Games today released its newest social mobile
game, m:Vampire.  The cross-platform title for Facebook, Android/G1,
iPhone, Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97 is the first vampire-themed
role-playing game (RPG) that allows players to add and challenge
friends from Facebook and a variety of supported smartphones, making
it the only truly social vampire experience of its kind.

“As the leader in cross-platform social games, we’re excited to
release m:Vampire as the first blood-sucking title to span multiple
devices,” said Stewart Putney, CEO and founder, Moblyng Games.  “We
recognized the popularity of the vampire genre and wanted to allow as
many players as possible to connect and share their gaming experience
on a variety of social gaming platforms.  As the first release of a
vampire-themed RPG on Android, m:Vampire joins our existing top-25
rated casual games, m:Mafia and Dungeon Quest, and demonstrates our
continuing game leadership on the Android platform.”

Moblyng Games designed m:Vampire using the proprietary software behind
its previous titles – Dungeon Quest, Poker Dice, and m:Mafia – which
makes porting social games across numerous platforms easy and
seamless.  Instead of weeks or even months that some developers
require to port their applications, Moblyng Games does it in mere
days, giving the company the freedom to bring more varied content to
their fans whether they own an iPhone, Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 or
Android/G1 phone.

m:Vampire is a vampire role-playing game that launches players into
the dark world of Dracula and his fanged friends.  Feast on the blood
of mortals, seduce unsuspecting runaways or conspire against enemies
to earn money for worldly pleasures and gain favor with the elders who
rule supreme in this engaging RPG.  While m:Vampire is free to play,
the gaming experience can be enhanced with the purchase of additional
in-game items and weapons.  m:Vampire is available now on Android and
Facebook, with iPhone, iPod touch, Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 and Palm Pre
versions coming soon.
