Xbox 360 Elite and accessories this weekend

by: John -
This weekend we'll be seeing the release of the Xbox 360 Elite, which includes HDMI and a 120GB hard drive. For those that already have the 360, the 120GB hard drive will be on sale for $180. Curiously, the cable to transfer the data from and old hard drive to a new one is missing in the Elite bundle and there's no mention of it in this PR. I'm wondering what they are going to do with those that currently have a HDD and decide to pick up the 120GB version should a cable not be included in the HDD accessory.

For existing Xbox 360 owners looking for greater storage capacity, the 120GB hard drive will also be sold as a stand-alone accessory for a suggested retail price of $179.99 (U.S.). Coordinating Xbox 360 Elite accessories, such as the black Xbox 360 wireless controller, Xbox 360 Play & Charge kit and the Xbox 360 rechargeable battery, will be available separately as well.
