I've never been a big PC gamer. I've only ever owned a handful (the last one was Star Wars: Battlegrounds
), and I've never came close to owning a real gaming PC. So for me, the hullabaloo surrounding XCOM: Enemy Unknown
is similar to a child hearing their parents argue about life insurance in the next room. I don't get it, and I'll probably never get it because maybe I'm just not meant to get it.
So, while I can't offer up any resounding meta-perspectives on the game itself, I can give you the just announced release date for XCOM: Enemy Unknown
