It's a shame that TrackMania Wii
has been delayed, but at least they're making the multiplayer great. This looks like what Sonic would race in if he used a car. It might not be excruciatingly realistic like Gran Turismo, but it's at least less goofy than Mario Kart and should serve as a good racing alternative for those Saturday gaming parties.
