Tony Hawk SHRED opens its website

More On: Tony Hawk: Shred
The new interactive website for Tony Hawn SHRED is up and running, allowing fans to check out music, trailers and gameplay footage from the new snowboarding title. According to the site you'll also be able to incorporate your Miis and 360 avatars into the game depending on what console you're playing on.

If you haven't heard already, SHRED uses a similar board controller to the one in last year's Tony Hawk Ride. Most every critic said that controller fell far short of expectations, so I hope the SHRED team has worked out the issues from Ride and fashioned a responsive, intuitive board controller. Personally I think they should've fixed the skateboarding gameplay before they tried attaching the board controller to a snowboarding game. In any case the concept holds a lot of promise, but the hardware will have to work consistently for it to be worth the price.
