“Making of” videos are always fascinating to me if they’re done right. I love getting insight into a game further than (to use a game-appropriate example): “how do I use the crane to flip that guy’s car over while racing past this freeway?”

making of Split/Second
video discusses what we already know: the basic storyline premise as well as the idea of being able to not only race your opponents, but to throw various life-threatening obstacles their way as well. The other half of the video will mainly take a look at the visuals and the developers explain that they wanted to go for a more cinematic look as opposed to a simulation.
Hopefully the continuation of the video series will result in some more details.
