Square Enix's sprawling (while many say stumbling) RPG epic, The Last Remnant
, is going to try its hand at the Games for Windows platform. With a tentative Spring 2009 release for the PC in North America and PAL Territories, there are undoubtedly a lot (a lot
) of technical issues to work out before that optimistic due date rolls around. The Xbox 360 version is plagued with bugs from stem to stern, and bugs don't have a habit of simply disappearing when they move onto PC -- instead, bugs have a tendency to thrive there. Best of luck to Square Enix. A lot of folks are still rooting for this one.
