The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3: episode 4

This week's episode of The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3, called Typhoon, introduces us to what must obviously be one of the highest-level weapons in the game.  Called the Typhoon, this machine gun (?) uses eight non-rotating barrels to help it achieve a fire rate that tops out at 500 rounds a second.  That's "second" with an "S."  And since the "bullets" it fires aren't bullets as much as they're up-sided pellets that you used to shoot at pigeons with when you were a kid (or maybe that was your dad), it must fire them electro-magnetically.  That means the Typhoon is less a traditional gun and more a device that propels balls of metal at lethal speeds using earth-magic.  

Awesome.

Crysis 3 is out on February 19 in North America and February 21 in Europe.
