Telltale releases bundle of adventure games for one week, proceeds to go to charity

Telltale games is giving gamers the opportunity to score some great adventure games for cheap and help charity at the same time.  For one week starting on September 3rd you can purchase the following games for $19.95 with the proceeds being split between Child's Play, the WWF, EEF, Nyota e.V, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  For your money you get digital copies of:
  • Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space.
  • Penny Arcade Adventures, Episode 1
  • The Whispered World,
  • King’s Quest Collection
  • Jack Keane
  • Puzzle Agent
As a bonus they will be unlocking other additional games as soon as they sell a certain number of games which will hopefully help people to open their wallets a bit.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – September 3, 2010 – Telltale Games, the leading independent digital publisher and developer of episodic interactive entertainment, today announced the release of The Great Adventure Bundle 2010, a collection of six current and classic PC adventure games assembled into a single bundle for one low price of $19.95. Beginning September 3 and available for one week only, players can purchase The Great Adventure Bundle 2010 which includes: Hothead’s Penny Arcade Adventures, Episode 1, Daedalic’s The Whispered World, Activision’s King’s Quest Collection, Deck 13’s Jack Keane; plus Telltale Games’ own Puzzle Agent and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space.



In addition, Telltale announced that 25 percent of each purchase of The Great Adventure Bundle 2010 will be set aside for five charitable causes, including: Childs Play, Electronics Frontier Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Nyota e.V.



As an incentive to participate, Telltale’s will build in bonus games that will “unlock” and become available for play as soon as certain unit-goals have been met.
