Tekken 6 coming to PS3 and 360

Sony has just lost its monopoly on the Tekken series, as Namco Bandai announced that Tekken 6 will share the brawler love on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  And while it's still at least a year out -- Fall 2009 -- that could place it in a very dangerous line of fire with Street Fighter IV (which still has no announced console date, but I'm just sayin').  No, I'm not trying to stir up hate:  Tekken has a solid 14-year legacy of its own that it's building on, and the character roster of Kazuya Mishima, King, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Michelle Chang, Marshall Law, Yoshimitsu, and Jack (along with plenty of unlockable characters) has been raking in solid critical scores from reviewers for years now.  The only difference is that Xbox-only owners can now discover why its sold 32 million units over a decade and a half.

These half dozen screens are fresh out of Tokyo Game Show 2008.
