THQ, Codeglue announce Rocket Riot for Xbox LIVE Arcade

by: Jake -
More On: Rocket Riot
In Rocket Riot, players will experience explosive side-view shooting action in a highly stylized 8-bit era graphical style.  Strapped to a bazooka soldier while blasting their way through enemies and online multiplayer foes, gamers will navigate through a completely destructible environment uncovering special power-ups and even burrowing into different areas of the map as part of both defensive and offensive play. With a regenerating map, the action is fast-paced, but time won’t heal all wounds.

Plus, there are a few additional features:

  • 80 single-player themed missions with a variety of goals.
  • Four multiplayer modes against up to eight players on Xbox LIVE or up to four players on a single screen.
  • Character customization with players selecting their soldier’s color, armor and more.
  • Player power-ups increase a character’s destructive powers or humorous disadvantages, including guided rockets, massive block destruction, rocket magnetism, and dizzy missiles.
