Um, it's not what you think. Or maybe it is. THQ has just announced an open sweepstakes that will give you the opportunity to get a custom rim job on your car. Across the street from the LA Convention Center where I, Chuck, John and Nack will be demoing games for E3, you could potentially be witnessing your car get pimped out by Saints Row's own car chop shop, the aptly named RIM JOB.

For the rules and regulations on entering the sweeps, read on below. But, you know, you should probably not enter if you do not own a car.

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – May 10, 2011 – THQ Inc.<http://www.thq.com/> (NASDAQ: THQI) a leading video game developer and publisher, announced today the Win A RIM JOB promotion, an enter-to-win sweepstakes that will grant one lucky winner a free Saints Row car customization based off RIM JOBS, the car customization chop shop featured in the highly anticipated Saints Row®: The Third™.

The Win A RIM JOB sweepstakes, which will be hosted on the official Saints Row: The Third website (www.saintsrow.com/rimjob) and sponsored by THQ, begins on May 10 at 12:01 AM (PT) and ends on May 24 at 11:59 PM (PT) at which time the winner will be drawn at random and notified. The winner will subsequently be invited to witness and influence the remodeling process of the winner’s car as it all unfolds across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center during the 2011 E3 Expo at a remote tune-up garage. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the contiguous United States and District of Columbia (excluding residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, New York, Rhode Island, and any other jurisdiction where Sweepstakes would be prohibited by law) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and hold valid title to a car meeting all of the requirements outlined in the official rules, which are located at: www.saintsrow.com/rimjob. There is no purchase necessary to participate, and the sweepstakes is void where prohibited.

RIM JOBS, your one-stop customization chop shop in Saints Row: The Third, allows players to completely customize vehicles with thousands of customs wheels, body work, performance and paint options. Whether it’s implementing extra horsepower for a race or applying massive body modifications to avoid detection from the police, players will drive away satisfied.
“Fans love the Saints Row franchise for its over-the-top gameplay experience and incredible customization abilities and Saints Row: The Third ups the ante in both areas,” said Tyrone Miller, director public relations, THQ. “The combination of E3, Los Angeles, Saints Row fans, cars and rim jobs will offer a one-of-a-kind experience that only THQ can deliver.”

Developed by Volition, Inc®, Saints Row: The Third is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC this holiday season. About Saints Row: The Third
Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobblehead dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and defend yourself against a highly-trained military force using only a sex toy in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen, igniting a city-wide war that will set Steelport on fire. Strap it on.
