THQ reveals WWE Fan Axxess for SvR2011

THQ has unveiled yet another new feature for this year’s entrance into their WWE series, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011
. The new feature, entitled WWE Fan Axxess is an optional package that can be purchased through the game’s in-game WWE Shop Zone. The feature allows players to prepay for the first two batches of downloadable content planned for the game, the first of which will be released this holiday season as well as gain free access to a few other downloadable options being offered to players through the game.
Purchase of the WWE Fan Axxess pack will give players all of the following for $9.99:
DLC Pack #1: The first pack adds WWE Legends Lex Luger and the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, Nexus members Wade Barrett, David Otunga, and Justin Gabriel, WWE Diva Layla, and alternate ring attire for a couple of superstars. The pack will also include a new arena for use in the game modeled off of the NXT show. This DLC pack will be available on its own for $6.99 (580 MS points).
DLC Pack #2: The second pack, coming a few months down the line, will give players alternate attire for quite a few superstars in the game and a WCW themed arena for use within the game. That pack will be available separately as well, for $2.99 (240 MS points).
WWE Superstar Attribute Customizer: Have you ever purchased a game, like Smackdown vs. Raw, where the athletes included in the game were given predetermined ratings that decided their performance… and not agreed with them? If that is the case, this is the feature for you as this will allow players to redistribute the ratings and attributes of the game’s characters based on their own desires. This option will be available for purchase separately for $0.99 (80 MS points).
Instant Unlock of hidden content: Players will have the option of unlocking all of the hidden content of the game with the press of a button, including all hidden characters, WWE Legends, titles, and extra ring attire. All of these items will be obtainable by playing through the various modes of the game and unlocked over time. This option will also be available as a separate purchase for $0.99 (80 MS points).

Fan Axxess will enable WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 owners to obtain select downloadable content released throughout the life of the videogame for a one-time anticipated purchase cost of 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE® for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft or $9.99 on PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. While the videogame will ship to retail outlets with pre-established in-game Superstar ratings, this feature will give players even greater customization freedom to define their own personalized visions of WWE.
