Last year, Microsoft announced their Summer of Arcade, which delivered about a months worth of high end arcade games and gave away over 100,000 Microsoft points during weekly contests. Well, in 2009 we will see the second annual version of the Summer of Arcade, with five new titles coming in July and August. Included will be MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2, Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-shelled and Trials HD. While these games could be very good, first impressions are that they probably wont live up to the strength of last years Summer of Arcade which had Braid, Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars 2, Galaga Legions and Bionic Commando Rearmed.
