Square Enix Announces First Offerings of 2008

Am I the only person that's totally confused by the whole numbering scheme that Square Enix uses for Final Fantasy? I'm never quite sure if each Roman numeral is a different universe, a new title or just a decoration that looks fancy. Nonetheless, they make some amazing games. 

They've announced a new Dragon Quest game, two new Final Fantasy games and a new IP - The World Ends With You - that was originally released in Japan. All four titles are due for release in early 2008. More details after the jump:
