If you search enough and are lucky, you can usually find great games on Ebay for great prices. Of course when you shop from Ebay you always want to read the fine print and check the users feedback to make sure you aren't getting screwed. Then you come across Ebay listings like this that you know are a shady.
This person is apparently selling used copies of Dark Souls, Saints Row IV and Far Cry 3 on Ebay with the bidding price currently at $21.00. That's a pretty great deal for those three game games right? Well it would be if it weren't for the fact that the picture shows the games in their original Redbox cases.
User emilyschmmemily, who has absolutely no feedback for selling on Ebay, claims the games aren't stolen from Redbox but instead bought from Gamestop.
Let me start off by saying these are not stolen games. I purchased them from a GameStop. Apparently GameStop takes in Redbox games.
Yeah... okay. I've never heard of a Gamestop just taking games without their original cases and then selling them back to other people so there is a good chance those games were stolen.
I'm a little confused as to why they would start the bidding so low. They do know that Redbox will charge you the full $60+tax if the game isn't returned within a certain time right? This person will spend at least $180 + Tax for those games and the bidding is currently at $21.00? You know what they say. A fool and his money are soon parted.
