The second map pack for Modern Warfare 2
is now available on Xbox Live (or will be shortly). The "Resurgence Pack" includes five additional maps to the game (three new maps and two "classic" maps from Call of Duty:Modern Warfare
). The pack will set you back 1200 points ($15) and will probably used by Activision to build another giant money pool for Bobby Kotick to swim around in. Activision will be kicking off a Double XP weekend this weekend to celebrate the launch.

Today’s launch of the second map pack from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 follows the record-breaking release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package, which established new Xbox LIVE launch records with millions of gamers around the world joining the action in its opening days.
Developed by Infinity Ward, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® 2 Resurgence Pack adds five additional multiplayer levels, including three all-new locations along with two updated classic locations from Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare®. The new map pack is published by Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), and available for download on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, for 1,200 Microsoft Points. To celebrate its release, Infinity Ward will host a Double XP weekend for Xbox LIVE gamers beginning June 4.
