I could've made the easy Wii will rock you joke headline but I'm not going to. I refuse. Anyways, Harmonix, MTV, and EA has announced the Wii will be getting Rock Band on June 22. The special edition that runs $170 will include the game, mic, drums, and a wireless guitar. 63 songs with 5 bonus songs will be available but there's no word on DLC yet. At the same time, the instruments will also be on sale separately so you can pick up extras without having to wait like those that picked up t he 360 and PS3 versions when they were released. There's also no word in the press release whether online play is supported as well but let's hope it does so you can have another friend code to enter.

Update (Chuck) - It's official, no online and no DLC for the Wii version of Rock Band.
