I've expressed my frustrations on receiving many, many updates about Operation Immortality and Richard Garriott's trip to the international space station. While I have made a few jokes about the trip (and I'm not the only one, I'm sure) I was very relieved when there was a successful take off and even more so when Mr. Garriott returned. This man has experienced sensations, emotions, and a fantastic view that many only dream about. The idea that really gets me though is that the money he used to pay for the trip was made, I'm assuming mostly, in his career in the video games industry. Video games helped his dreams come true. There is something poetic and profound in that idea but I'm not entirely sure what it is. For further details about the landing check out THIS ARTICLE
