Ubisoft announced yesterday that they, in conjunction with Gamestop/EB Games, Future U.S. Inc and Dodge, will be hosting the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Challenge.

The tournament starts December 27th and will be team based and played with Xbox 360s on Xbox Live. The four-player teams will compete in and around areas of Vegas in the game, and will end with a championship match on January 28th, 2007 with the winning player taking home an all-new 2007 Dodge Nitro. Contest registration is being accepted between Monday, November 6, 2006 and Friday, December 20, 2006.

Prizes:

-Grand Prize (one player): All-new 2007 Dodge Nitro automobile, ARV: $19,885
-First Prize (1 player) $1,000
-Second Prize (1 player) $500
-Third Prize (1 player) $500

A quick glance at the official rules show residents of ARIZONA, FLORIDA, IOWA, LOUISIANA, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY and VERMONT are not eligible to play.   Also, entrants must be 18, and NOT be an employee of UBI or GameStop/EB Games.

Ubisoft Leverages Partnerships with Future U.S., Inc., Automotive and Video
Game Retail Giants for First Ever Rainbow SixR Tournament

SAN FRANCISCO - November 14, 2006 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's
largest video game publishers, announces Tom Clancy's Rainbow SixR Vegas
Challenge, an online video game tournament sponsored by Gamestop and EB
Games, Future U.S., Inc. and Dodge. The tournament kicks off December 27 and
will pit four-player teams against each other to battle it out in the
exciting Vegas locations featured in the highly anticipated first-person
shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow SixR Vegas for the Xbox 360(TM) video game and
entertainment system from Microsoft. The tournament will be held on the Xbox
LiveR online game service and will culminate in an online championship on
January 28, 2007. The winning player will take home an all-new 2007 Dodge
Nitro.

will prominently feature tournament news and information in the weeks
leading up to and during the event. Future's U.S. games magazines, Official
Xbox Magazine, PC Gamer, and PSM: Independent PlayStation Magazine will
advertise the tournament, and a special 30-second trailer highlighting the
Challenge will be featured on demo discs included with copies of Official
Xbox Magazine and PC Gamer magazine.

partnered with Prima Games to create a special Tom Clancy's Rainbow SixR
Vegas Challenge strategy guide that will be available free of charge,
exclusively at GameStop and EB Games stores while supplies last.
