Punks will get busted in Call of Duty 2

Perhaps that little server strike did something. Activision has announced that the they will be releasing new multiplayer maps and include PunkBuster for Call of Duty 2 in early 2006. The new maps is always a welcomed addition but to hear they are listening to the community and including an anti-cheating software should make many online fans very happy.

ACTIVISION ANNOUNCES CALL OF DUTY 2 PLANS FOR MULTIPLAYER MAPS AND PC UPDATE

Santa Monica, CA – Dec. 21, 2005 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq:  ATVI) and Infinity Ward today announced plans to release new multiplayer maps as part of a Call of Duty® 2 Windows® PC update that will also include PunkBusterâ„¢ anti-cheat software and additional support enhancements.  The download is currently scheduled for release in early 2006 and will be available at www.callofduty.com.
