There's a good
article over at
Wired that's a bit of a rebuttal to the upcoming voice acting guild strike. The gist of the article is that without the programmers and design artists there wouldn't be a game for the voice actors to use and that most VO actors aren't exactly putting in the massive crunch time that the programmers and artists are.
This is something that gamers should be watching closely because if one or both groups start getting residuals for the games then those costs are probably going to be passed a long to us.
