When you come out with new hardware, it should be an improvement over the original. Not so with the PSP-3000
. From Engadget
, it seems the screens on the PSP-3000
have interlace problems as you can see by the comparison picture. Sony has followed up with them saying that's the feature of the new screen and there are no plans to fix it. Since it's in hardware, there isn't a software fix that can help this. While I had thoughts of picking up a PSP down the road, it looks like I should stick with the older one if I don't want the interlace problem.
