Fortunately, this news reveals that the bands that will appearing at PAX are going to be featured in two new three-packs of songs (Freezepop Pack 01 and The PAX 2009 Collection) available for download at the Rock Band Music Store next week for the 360, PS3, and Wii. Featured artists include Jonathan Coulton, MC Frontalot, Paul & storm, and Freezepop. It wont be the same experience at PAX, but we can splurge on the extras to feel a bit more included.

In more downloadable music news for Rock Band, tracks from bands like 3 Doors Down, AFI, Audioslave and Jackson 5 will be released next week as well for the three consoles. These were previously only available on the PSP for Rock Band Unplugged.

The Wii gets a few more exclusive tracks next week, as well. This includes The Jam, Oasis, and Rage Against the Machine in addition to the Talking Heads tracks news we covered last week.
