Nintendo lets you revisit retro games and virtual retro life this week

The weekly list of Nintendo downloads has yet again been compiled and ready for you to scour through.

Wii users will have access to Bang Attack (500 points) this week, a puzzle game that puts a hammer in your hand with the goal of smashing through similar objects. If you’re looking for that retro fix on your Wii via the Virtual Console, you’ll find Mega Man 4 (500 points) for download this week. The introduction of a new mad scientist has Mega Man defending his life, and setting on the task of saving everyone from this Dr. Cossack.

If you plan on catching downloadable games for your portable Nintendo pleasure, you have more Game & Watch (200 points each) series to sift through for your DSi. Everything from Donkey Kong Jr. to juggling is being offered. You can also decide to revisit high school (although I’m not sure why you would want to) in Surviving High School (800 points) that lets you pick up jobs, try out for the school’s sports teams, and try to pick up girls along the way, as well. At least virtual high school has save points you can revert to. For keeping in touch with your friends, the DSi will also feature myPostcards (200 points) that lets you design your own postcard.

Lastly, the WarioWare: DIY “Big Name Games” series continues this week with a new microgame, this time from Matt Bozon known for Shantae and Contra 4.

Read on for the full details of each individual game, and tune in next week for another round-up of a new batch of downloadable titles.
