IGN.com
has reported that FX is rebooting the Harry Potter franchise ("add more grit" someone undoubtedly yelled) and EA is bringing him back to consoles with a game based on the future series.

The article goes on to state that the show's lead writer, Shawn Ryan (The Shield, Terriers) is working closely with developer Criterion games to ensure the game maintains the story's integrity, and that gameplay features will include "dynamic rooftop spell battles," and an interrogation system similar to Rockstar's LA Noire.  No platforms have been announced and the game is currently without even the hint of a title.

The kicker in all this is that the game, whenever it comes out, will sport an M rating.

How can this not be a hit?  There's bound to be tons of Harry Potter fans that have become, or are in the process of becoming, old enough to buy M rated games for the first time.  Why wouldn't EA market something so familiar yet targeted specifically at their more mature sensibilities?
