Who knew? This is one announcement that surely slid right under my radar. If you look close enough at the list of titles announced by EA at the 2009 GDC, you will see that sure enough, a new
SSX title was listed for the iPhone platform. The title was listed as a part of the company's planned 2009 lineup but obviously didn't make the cut as the calendar has since turned over to 2010. The portable gaming site
Pocket Gamer asked an Electronic Arts representative specifically about the new
SSX title in an interview on their site early last month; of course they got the expected "no comment" answer.
As a die hard
SSX series fan, I can only hope that more light is shed on this title soon and it makes its way to the portable platform this year some time...
