I don't think I've ever seen a game revel in its own insanity and enjoy it as much as
Lollipop Chainsaw. It's positively ebullient with itself, and there's nothing wrong with that. ******* rainbows erupt from the neck stumps of decapitated zombies for Pete's sake.
The following video give us a bit of behind-the-scenes info and features filmmaker James Gunn and Suda 51 himself. If you're not familiar with James Gunn, he wrote, along with
Lollipop Chainsaw,
Dawn of the Dead,
Slither, and
Super. I'm not one for zombies, but
Slither, and especially
Super were wonderfully dark and twisted (Seriously, if you like either Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, or superhero movies in general, you need to check it out).
