More On: Injustice: Gods Among Us
Ed Boon and his crew are going to step a way from the Mortal Kombat universe for a little while, but they won’t leave the fighting game realm. Warner Bros. has announced their new project in the form of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The new game, set in the DC Universe, will allow players to experience the world as both heroes and villains. This won’t be your standard, one-on-one fighting game as NetherRealm and Warner Bros. are promising “epic battles on a massive scale”. You can get an idea of the tone for the game in the announce trailer shown below, courtesy of Gamespot.

It is a safe bet that your favorite DC characters will be included in the game, along with some you may not have thought about. Some of the faces shown in the trailer include Batman, Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn. The game is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii U and will be release some time in 2013. You can bet you will be seeing and hearing a lot more about it at E3 next week.
