The president of Namco Bandai
lays the smackdown and says they have to sell 500,000 copies of a game on the PlayStation 3 to make a profit. Part of the reason is that it costs 1 billion yen more to do graphics on the PlayStation 3 over the Nintendo Wii. That's a lot of copies to sell and I wonder if other companies need the increase of cost in development when developing for the PlayStation 3.
