NVIDIA Kepler becomes affordable with the GeForce GTX 660 Ti

Up until now, only those with deep pockets could really justify buying a NVIDIA Kepler based card. Well, today that changes with this new announcement. NVIDIA is having a hard launch of the new GeForce GTX 660Ti and it can be yours for just $299.

The mid-range card runs at 915MHz with a boost of up to 980MHz. If you need more, the card sports a lot of headroom for overclocking so expect some overclock edition cards from board partners.  Memory for the reference card i at 2GB running at 6.0Gbps nut it's a 192Bit configuration as opposed to 256Bit in the GTX 670 model.. The card also has 1344 CUDA Cores and has all the features of its big brothers.

Power wise, the TDP is at 150W and you'll need two 6-pin power connectors to run it. There are four heads so you can connect 2 DVI, one HDMI, and one DisplayPort display.

The hard launch means the card is available right now with plenty of stock for those to purchase one. If you've been waiting to get a more affordable Kepler card, now's the time.
