More On: Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Midway has unleashed new screenshots for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. These dynamic shots capture the new fighting mechanics for the game: Freefall Kombat, Klose Kombat and Rage Mode. Freefall Kombat eliminates the frustration of being unable to fight in mid-air. In Klose Kombat uniforms will take a hit when your character does. You'll be able to see the punishment in the bruises of your opponent when you're zoomed in. Rage Mode unleashes a series of unblockable moves.  I wonder how that works in combination with Freefall Kombat. I'll have to wait and see like everybody else. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe begins November 16th in North America and November 21st in Europe.

Freefall Kombat – Klose Kombat – Rage Mode

Today, Midway released six new screens for Mortal Kombat® vs. DC Universe highlighting all-new features from the games unique fighting system. For the first time in Mortal Kombat history, players can face off using three all-new fighting mechanics: Freefall Kombat, Klose Kombat and Rage Mode.

Freefall Kombat allows players to battle in mid-air while falling from one arena into the next. Players can fill up their meter to try and perform a super move -- but watch out or they might get countered!

Klose Kombat, a brutal up-close fighting mechanic, enhances the game's gritty visual tone through progressive damage inflicted on fighters during zoomed-in battles, with visible bruises, torn clothing, and more.

Rage Mode allows players the ultimate attack experience, releasing pent-up rage in a glowing torrent of consecutive attacks that are unable to be blocked.

Gaming enthusiasts and comic-book fans alike be warned! Worlds will collide on November 16th in North America and November 21st in Europe when Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe crashes into store shelves for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360®' video game system and entertainment system from Microsoft.
