The folks at GameTrailers TV have managed to secure another exclusive as they will have the first look at Midway's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe on the show this weekend.  Not only will they have the first look at the game but they will be unveiling two new villains from the game.  Once again you'll want to set your DVR's as the show isn't on until 1AM EST.

New Gameplay Footage of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe


WHAT:
Spike TV and GameTrailers.com announced today that two never-before-seen characters from Midway's upcoming Mortal Kombat® vs. DC Universe, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, will be revealed this Friday night, July 4th at 1:00am ET/PT on "GameTrailers TV" in HD. Tune in to discover which two villains from the Mortal Kombat/DC multiverse will be joining the ranks of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Superman and Batman as playable characters in the upcoming fighting game.

"Mortal Kombat has always been known for redefining the fighting genre," said Geoff Keighley, host and executive producer, GTTV. "The latest partnership between Midway and the DC Universe promises to breathe new life into the genre with a brand new crossover we know our fans will be excited to see."

For the first time ever Scorpion, Sub-Zero and the Mortal Kombat warriors battle with Batman, Superman and other popular DC Universe super heroes. Choose your side and challenge your opponents with a new fighting system including Freefall Kombat and Klose Kombat along with dynamic multi-tiered environments. Plus, pick your favorite character from MK or DCU and pursue a fighting adventure in the new single player mode with an intertwined storyline and two unique perspectives.

In development at Midway Amusement Games in Chicago, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is not yet rated by PEGI or ESRB.
