Much like the rumors of Portal 2 earlier this week
, the announcement of another Tomb Raider game has made my day. Crystal Dynamics, developer of the most recent (and awesome) Tomb Raider game, is hard at work on Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
. They will be showing the game off "beyond closed doors" at GDC next week.
The only thing that has tempered my anticipation is that it has been listed for release via "digital distribution." That doesn't sound like a full fledged follow-up to Tomb Raider Underworld
. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
does have a web site
so stay tuned.
