Midway's
spiral continues as they are cutting 25% of their workforce. With the cut they will be taking a charge of $1.6 million in severance packages or what I'd like to say a nice chunk of change. Chicago, San Diego, and Austin are the locations these cuts are being made. If you got some spare change, you can buy some Midway stock which is valued at $0.17. It's sad to see this one proud company being reduced like this. I mean I grew up on
Mortal Kombat and
NBA Jam so seeing Midway fall like this is a little disheartening.
