Finally, Mass Effect 3
is ready to drop some single-player DLC onto the world, and it's about damn time. For all of multiplayer's relative positives, one thing remains firmly negative: multiplayer DLC tends to overwhelm the games they get released for.
There has already been more multiplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3
than all the DLC released over the whole lifetime for some games. For me, it was cool at first, but now I'm just desensitized (wow, another new gun I'll never get because I don't buy enough Spectre Packs, "cool"). I'm well past ready ready for some killer single-player content.
looks as killer as single-player content gets. Whether it can top ME2
or Lair of the Shadow Broker
remains to be seen, however. Today's trailer paints a very positive picture of Leviathan, and we only have a few more days to wait and see for sure.
comes out on August 28th.
