No, I'm not talking about some disturbing fanfiction, but Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.  We've been hearing about this game for a couple months, but Sega is still driving the hype train.  Getting ready for the game's November release, Sega is hyping the unlikely pairing of gaming's two greatest mascots.   There's no argument that it's an original idea, but Im still wondering why they chose the Olympics.  Can't they just put Sonic in Smash Bros. Brawl and get it over with already?  That's what we all want anyway.  In any case, you can head over to Sega.com for the latest media.

SEGA® of America, Inc. is excited to present the first in an exclusive series of character spotlights from the upcoming Holiday title Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games -   the interactive new game exclusively for the Wii™ video game system and the Nintendo DS™ system – the game that pits Team Mario against Team Sonic in this epic battle for the coveted gold medal.

Featuring action-packed screenshots from Olympic events, this week's character focus take a deeper look at Mario and Sonic - two of the entertainment industries most recognized heroes!
