It looks like the March PS3 update is going to be packed tighter than Ben in the pack seat of a VW Bug as they are including
the Folding at home client in the update. The client will allow you to share the processing power of the PS3 to help scientists break down data about diseases (click here for a better description). I don't see a lot of the details online but I'm guessing you'll have to leave your PS3 on with the program running in order to help out. I doubt you'll be able to play games and contribute cycles as Sony still hasn't figured out how to allow for you to download stuff in the background while you play. I just hope you can fold and download at the same time.
