Today Majesco announced that Ghostwire: Link to the Paranormal
will be hitting your Nintendo DSi in 2010.
"Ghostwire: Link to the Paranormal integrates cutting-edge technology with a unique augmented reality aesthetic to create a truly exciting piece of software specifically designed for the Nintendo DSi," said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations at Majesco Entertainment. "We are thrilled to have such an innovative product in our lineup and look forward to revealing details about the experience as we approach next year's launch."
Ghostwire lets players capture ghosts in their own homes or while out and about (aieeee!) with the DSi's camera and a special ghost tuner that lets you access frequencies beyond the WiFi's range. Real-life factors such as time of day or light levels will influence your hunting. Ghosts have a wide variety of personalities and need different strategies to be brought down. Sounds very interesting so far.
Also, did you know Majesco's NASDAQ ticker is "COOL"? Awesome, right?
