Madden Bowl headed for ESPN3

This year, for the first time ever, Electronic Arts will be streaming the 16th annual Madden Bowl to viewers on ESPN3.com.

For those who don’t know, the Madden Bowl is an annual single-elimination tournament sponsored by EA during Super Bowl weekend. The event usually includes various NFL players and celebrities battling it out in the most recent version of Madden football. Recent years have seen the participation limited strictly to current NFL players.

The participants in this years event are: 
  • Miles Austin of the Dallas Cowboys
  • Drew Brees from the New Orleans Saints
  • Reggie Bush from the New Orleans Saints
  • Chase Daniel of the New Orleans Saints
  • Dwight Freeney of the Indanapolis Colts
  • Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Marcedes Lewis of the Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Willis McGahee of the Baltimore Ravens
  • Kirk Morrison of the Jacksonville Jaguars
  • DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys
  • Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers
  • Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys
The event will go live on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 9PM EST exclusively at ESPN3.com
