MS offering 320GB media drive later this month

Major Nelson posted that Microsoft will be offering up a new storage solution for your Xbox 360 later in October. The drive is being touted as a “320 GB Media Hard Drive” and will come with a download code for LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. The drive will have an MSRP of $129.99, but Amazon is taking pre-orders with free shipping for $126.44 currently. As usual, Microsoft is behind the times in dollars per GB, as this drive is probably worth about $50 retail at the current rate. It is also a bit disappointing that this will not work with the older Xbox models, as you would think MS would come up with an adapter of some sort by now that they could sell to all of us sporting the non-slim models.
