MLG announces complete 2011 pro circuit line-up

Major League Gaming has announced their complete pro circuit line-up for 2011.  Coming off a successful event in Dallas the season continues with stops in Columbus, OH., Anaheim, CA., Raleigh, NC., and Orlando, FL., before culminating with the national championship in Providence, RI. in the fall.  If you're interested in seeing some high-level play on games like Halo Reach, Starcraft II, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, then this could definitely be worth checking out.  Read on for more info and the dates for each city.

Future Competitions to be Held in Columbus, Anaheim, Raleigh, Orlando and Providence
Season Features Prize Purse Totaling More Than $1 Million
 
New York – April 28, 2011- Major League Gaming (MLG), the world's largest professional video game league and largest provider of cross platform online videogame competition, today announced the complete 2011 Pro Circuit line-up. Coming off of a hugely successful event in Dallas with more than 1200 competitors, the season will continue with stops in Columbus, OH (June 3-5), Anaheim, CA (July 29-31), Raleigh, NC (August 26-28) and Orlando, FL (October 14-16), culminating with the national championship in Providence, RI this fall (November 18-20). 
 
Passes for the upcoming Columbus competition will be available beginning May 3 at 7pm ET at www.majorleaguegaming.com.
 
In the 8th and largest Pro Circuit season to date, the world's best players are competing for their share of more than $1 million in prizes and stipends playing the record-setting Call of Duty®: Black Ops on the PlayStation®3 (PS3™) system, Blizzard Entertainment’s blockbuster real-time strategy game, StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty on PC, and the popular Halo: Reach on Xbox 360.
 
MLG has taken the event experience to a new level adding three massive main stages dedicated to each game to provide spectators with an optimized view of all the gameplay action.  On site, thousands of players and spectators can also visit an array of booths featuring meet and greets with MLG Pros, the latest products from MLG partners, pre-release access to games and more. Those that can't make it in person can watch in real-time at www.majorleaguegaming.com.
