Lord Webber brings his music to Lips

More On: Lips
Ok, confession time... even though I know that I may get some serious ridicule for it: I am a HUGE Andrew Lloyd Webber fan. HUGE. I was always big into music in high school, marching band, jazz band, orchestra, you name it. Phantom of the Opera, both the original and the sequel are the two soundtracks that are in constant (and I mean constant) rotation in my stereo. When it was announced this week that the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber was coming to Lips for the Xbox 360, I couldn’t help but smile.

Starting tomorrow, select tracks from Lord Webber’s biggest Broadway hits will become available on the Lips music store. The first batch of songs will be released tomorrow and consists of Memory from Cats, All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera, and Love changes Everything from Aspects of Love.

The second pack will be released on September 10 and will include Don’t Cry for Me Argentina from Evita, The Phantom of the Opera from the Phantom of the Opera, and Any Dream Will Do from Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Each song will cost 160 Microsoft points. I could go on with a list of songs that I hope hit the game, but that would be a little too embarrassing... I have already said too much.
